The Song of Life

My lovely Eva, who keeps my heart singing,

I heard it the first time my eyes met yours; that soft, sweet melody which reverberated in my heart and filled my soul with the song of love. Our song of love fills every day, with a tune which fits every emotion, distress, worry, hope, joy, disappointment and victory. Saturated with hope our love lifts us above defeat, disaster or separation for where ever we go the music of our souls plays the song of life and laughter. It’s the song we heard this morning, all the mornings since we met, and we will hear every day as long as we live for the song of God given love never dies. Be of good cheer my Eva, you won’t be without my prayers as long as our Holy Father gives me life. Scripture says that, ‘the fervent prayer of a righteous man, avails much.’ That means that our prayers, one for another protect and cover us. Prayer is winged thought, flowing through the Most High God, which flies immediately and directly to the recipient, never missing its’ mark. Satan fears us when we are on our knees in prayer. His strategy has always been to misdirect our thoughts, for in thought we were created in the image of God. Jesus said, “search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life.” Again Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.” He was showing us that we are who and what we think. His message to mankind was a song of love. We hear it in our souls as well and I love you because you hear his song too. The beauty of it all is that our love song is in harmony with his eternal song of love for he has blessed our love and sustained us by giving us hope when the feeble mind of man would have judged the higher thoughts of God foolishness. When you’ve had true love like our love, you will always recognize a counterfeit lust posing as love. In love there is no lust for the needs of the first person are subordinate to the needs of the second person. Better said, the two are one in purpose and as such all passions are pure and devoid of selfish motives. I love you with all my heart and I hold you in my arms as the song of love plays in our hearts.

Tonight they’re playing our song again, Kochany
