When you rise early and walk shortly after sunrise, one is amazed at all the birds and animals who have begun activities. Unaffected by the miriad of schedules and time tables of modern man, the observance of the creation cycle is universal and unchallenged; unchallenged because it can’t be improved. When man attempts to intervene, catastrophe always follows up to and including extinction. My early morning walks bring me closer to our Creator by drawing me nearer to God the Creator. The apostle Paul said that the stars and, universe and natural universe are evicence of an all powerful creator and thus no reasonable man could justifiably deny His existence.
This morning it began to rain as I neared the half way point of my 2 mile route. It was refreshing and the realization came that what was refreshing to me was vital for the plants and animals who receive each day their required sustenance from the natural order set in place at creation. With this in mind, my pace quickened but though my clothes were soaked, I acquired a greater appreciation for another facet of life requirements heretofore overlooked. My understanding for you my kochana is likewise opened a bit more each day. The rain of a relationship is love. Our love delivers the rains of peace, joy, happiness and hope amidst conflict, disappointment, pain, sorrow and every challenge encountered in our lives. I thank you for the refreshing rains of love, understanding, encouragement, hope, counsel, peace and pleasure. Just as this morning, you and our love bring to me refreshing, restoring, rehabilitating strength. With us, as we share each day, we are joyfully walking in the rain.
