German Chocolate Cake

Dearest Eve, we both our children,

When your son is pre-school age and playing with little boy action toys, one little knows the vocation, avocation or hobbies he will choose. Our son is a man in every sense of the word. I’m proud of him for who he is, what he is and all that he stands for. He has surprised me in many things from becoming an outstanding chess player, an excellent guitar player, entertainer, singer and baking artist (this was the greatest surprise). Yesterday he came to our house with a german chocalote cake which he baked. Though chocolate is not my favorite, because of the coconut and moistness of the cake, it is a tasty delight. After dinner, we had the German chocolate cake as our son related the intricacies of preparing the batter, baking and icing the cake. He expended much effort and attention to our dessert. I am reminded of all the delicious meals you have prepared during our life journey together. Thank you for the dedicaton and love. You have been my ultimate dessert in life, my personal favorite chocolate cake. You are a sweet which I always crave, want and need. Just being with you is my dessert.
