You’re Still the One

My sweet darling Ewa,
You are sleeping, your man is up early and I’m sipping my coffee as I review our plans for the day. I must list and think through those things that seem to be ordered in your mind. How you have simplified my life. I remember in the early days of our love the first time you reached over and adjusted the temperature of the heater without asking if I was warm enough. I liked that. You just knew what was right for me from the beginning. God made you for me and He made me for you. I remember that time when you kicked off your shoes in the front floorboard of the car as we were driving. I knew you were comfortable with me. A woman does not kick off her shoes unless she’s comfortable in her surroundings. I was not just falling in love, I was in love with you! As our love has grown, you have proved to be the best friend a man could have. I can always rely on you to make the best decisions for us. I needed a woman who loved God more than she loved me. You are such a woman. Your love and devotion to the Most High God and his holy principles guarantee that our love will never fail us and always glorify our God. After all these years we can each say that our God is first of all. I am just as thankful that each of us can always say, ‘You’re still the one’.
