A Full Measure of Her Love

I called at 6:58PM and she was working on a Christmas project. I called back at 8:36 PM and she promised that she would be finished soon and on her way home in less than an hour. Concerned, I called for a third time at 9:48 PM and she was still laboring on her Christmas card project featuring a picture of our grand daughter during a performance. She was almost finished and would be home as soon as possible. At times I am overly protective of my Kochana but occasionally she tests my patience with retail therapy on extremely cold nights when the roads are icy. Tonight however, I understand and wait patiently because I know she is again giving a full measure of her love to those whom she loves. The cards must be ready to mail tomorrow to be received by Christmas Eve. She will mail those Christmas tidings with the picture of the little girl we both adore. God has given us a bounty of blessings through our grandchildren. My Kochana always gives a full measure of her love and in so doing she is only returning the full measure of love which our loving heavenly Father first gave to us. She is as predictable as ‘Old Faithful’ the geyser in Yellowstone Park that gushes forth every 25 to 120 minutes. It is this full measure of love relationship bestowed upon us that binds us together as one at all times. It is the spiritual, emotional and mental konstant that is inter-twined in the living fabric of our love. I am of good cheer and in great confidence that for all of us who are immersed in Kochanas’ permeating affection, she will always give a full measure of her love. I know that her love will always be sufficient to meet the need of that hour.
