Stand by Me

When I’m depressed at the end of a rough day and it seems the whole world is on my shoulder, I know that you will share my burden. I find solace in you, for you always stand by me. If I am in grief of soul so that I struggle to get off my knees, you are there to assist me to my feet. Having a companion and friend like you means that I never stand alone. With you as my life mate, I am never alone. Even our Lord Jesus Christ needed comfort on the cross, where He shed his lifeblood for those of who know him as Savior, Friend, Brother and Lord. Even though in his agony, he said, “My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me?”, when He aligned His will to the redeeming plan of his Holy Father God for those he came to save he said, “into your hands I Commend my spirit”. He knew that his father God would stand by him. He was never alone on the cross for his father God was within him. The father grieved and experienced every venomous dart of Satan that pierced the inner being of his son Jesus. As the Holy Father God stood by his son Jesus Christ, our risen Savior Jesus stands by us when earthly problems would over whelm the two of us standing as one. There are trials in life that require super natural intervention. He makes us strong in our weakness. His power comes forth when we cease to struggle and lay everything on the altar, knowing that He is the solution to our crisis, even miracles when necessary. You are like our holy God when you stand by me.  It is my prayer that I never fail you in times of crisis. I will ever stand by you, because you will always stand by me.
