An Injured Sandpiper

Do you remember when we were walking the lot of our new home, before ground was broke for the footings and foundation? Do you recall the sandpiper that began chirping loudly, dragging its wing and a foot as if it were injured? Immediately, your kochany suspected that we were near the nest of this noisy sandpiper. It appeared to be a diversion to draw us away from the defenseless young nestlings. After I followed the bird about 40 feet, the bird quickly flew away. When my supposition was presented to you, your doubts quickly arose as your man began looking carefully about the ground of the lot (sandpipers nest on the ground). I cautioned you to watch where you walked. After a few minutes of intense searching, a small nest with three eggs was found. This is a common tactic of birds to lure potential threats (snakes, foxes, cats, humans) away from the setting mother and/or her defenseless chicks. Unfortunately the nest was destroyed a few days later when the builder broke ground for our home. Our distressed sandpiper was engaging us in evasion and diversion to lead us away from that which was dear to her. We live in a world wide political and spiritual environment of deception. Selfish and ungodly (evil) motives are veiled behind ostensibly virtuous objectives. The real goal and vision of personal manipulation (enslavement) is carefully concealed from the unwitting, non-thinking masses caught up in the latest fashion, cultural or political correctness, pursuit of personal happiness and earthly enrichment. When the public becomes suspicious or tired of the same spoon fed daily mental diet of propaganda, the evil rulers of men introduce new diversions of thought, law, fashion, contrived shortages (even health catastrophes) or new leaders promising ‘hope and change’, ‘peace and prosperity’, ‘two cars in every garage’, etc. to evade an explanation of false and erroneous concepts and hide the truth, that would be flat out rejected by even the fools among men, thus endangering the spiritual and political house of cards that the Most High God has proclaimed is doomed and certain to implode and fall. God has called his chosen few to follow him (‘I am the way, the truth and the Life’) in a consistent, persistent and relentless quest for the truths of Life and Love of Creator God, our Father in Christ Jesus his risen son and our personal Savior. Let us never be beguiled by diversions and evasions of the devil or his emissaries ( wicked men), our enemies, in our endless search for truth that leads to holiness, righteousness and truth. Your husband is grateful for the purity of your motives my kochana. Let us learn to trust our God and one another. May we always recognize and reject spiritual, cultural and political ideology that is evasive like the sandpiper who sought to lead us away from her nest.
