A Peaceful Scene before the Fall
My Kochana Eve,
From the first day God brought you into my line of sight, my desire has been centered in all those issues of love and life which assure your happiness, fulfillment and safety. Our quiet time together finds us discussing the thoughts and concerns we share. You are the one human on earth with whom your man, can discuss even my fears and moments of weakness, because you love me as I am. To be one with you, my sweet darling, is truly a foretaste of heaven on earth. A few days ago, I had a dream. I was in the garden of Eden with Creator God Most High when I saw straight ahead of me, alone and attracting attention to himself, a golden snake. It looked like a copperhead and it’s tail was wrapped loosely about its’ body a few inches below the head. The snake never looked me straight in the eye and I only observed the left eye and a left side profile. Without fear or trepidation (there is no fear in Christ Jesus or in the protection and presence of the Most High God) I said, “Look Lord. There’s a snake.” It was appealing to the eye, alluring and proud of its’ beauty. I marvelled that I had none of the hatred and fear for snakes which comes over me when I see one. Without a word The Lord stepped away from me and covered the head of the snake with a covering veil and with a pointed object resembling a nail, poked out the right eye of the serpent. The serpent remained under the covering, its’ head still elevated in pride without sight in the right eye of eternal life. Then I awoke from my dream. In this peaceful scene before the fall, I saw how Eve was attracted to the serpent in the fatal encounter with the left (evil) side of the serpent. There was no danger or fear in merely observing the serpent who was a creature of God. He was in fact a wonder to behold; fashioned by the immaculate mind of God Most High. He appeared to the inexperienced view (understanding) of Eve as wise and pleasing to the eye. What she failed to see was the inherent evil hidden beneath the veil of false friendship and flirtation. Yes there in the garden was the first example of flirtation (flirtation is attracting attention to oneself) as the devil in the guise of friendly discussion misdirected the well meaning and friendly intentions of the unsuspecting wife of Adam and beloved daughter of God. Ezekiel 28: 13 – 17 states, ’28:13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering ……….., 28:14 You were the anointed cherub that covers: and I set you, [so that] you were upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 28:15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you. 28:17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I have cast you to the ground’. His fatal flaw was the pride of life which caused satan to think and act by doing that which was right in his own eyes apart from the righteous and holy insight of God Almighty. He thought as recorded in Isaiah 14:12, ‘I will make myself like the Most High’. He was so puffed up in self love and self worship that He believed that He could do the impossible, to be like God apart from Him, in his own strength and understanding. But satan needed an accomplice to effectively revolt against God and he took the dearest one to the heart of God, first Eve through deception and then her husband Adam by the hand of his true love upon her misunderstanding that the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil was good for food and desirable to make them wise. (Many things are pleasing to the eye but poisonous to the body, mind and soul.) What the man never would have shared with the serpent from his hand (Adam was not deceived) he willingly, and wickedly, accepted from the innocent hands (Eve was a victim of the evil scheme of the serpent) of the lovely wife Adam adored to please her in deferrence to obeying God their protector. Then their eyes were opened to the left eye of satan (death), doing what was right in their own eyes. This is death, doing what is right in our own eyes. The book of Judges sums up the history of the nation of Israel shortly after they arrived in the promised land, ‘each man did what was right in his own eyes’. God had faithfully given them His laws to live by (the right eye of God) and they ignored His precepts and statutes chosing instead to do what was right in their own eyes. In my dream I saw satan entombed and imprisoned in a veil of flesh when God put the covering over him. And I saw his access forbidden to the tree of life when God put out his right eye. In putting the man and woman out of the garden, God was forbidding satan the presence of God in the form of man. He made a way of escape for man in the promise of a Savior but enmity between the seed of the woman and satan was the result of the absolute condemnation and final sentence in the eternal lake of fire for satan (lucifer as he was known in heaven). The war between the flesh (left eye of man in satan) and righteous spirit of redeemed man (right eye of eternal life in Jesus Christ) has raged ever since our loving and benevolent Holy Father of Light streched out his arm in the birth, life, death and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ and saved us from satan, the great imposter who loathes our soul and our walk with God.
Understanding the truth of God causes me to love you, my Eve, ever more,Kochany
