Believing is Knowing
To Eva, the woman who believed in us with me,
When your man considers the many ways we express our love to each other, the uncertainties we overcame and the doubts we conquered come to mind. Possibly the greatest miracle of Godly romance, which leads to the union of one man and one woman, is the mutual and simultaneous perception of oneness that leads to a shared belief that we have met that one person who will complete our being. When we first meet we know so little about this exciting new friend who is instantly much more than a friend. The initial attraction was not your beauty but rather the sound of your voice, your genuine interest in me, my immediate interest in you and the comfort of your presence. The pleasure we enjoyed when we were together fueled an increased desire to be together at shorter and shorter intervals. Each additional occasion we shared brought more knowledge which fortified our increasing affection when we courted. Our initial perception of affection upon which we initially believed our relationship was real and vital to us, as individuals and as a couple, grew our knowledge about each other. The more we learned about each other, the more we knew that we were good for each other, and our belief in one another for our common good increased as our love grew. After all these years, your man can say that he believes in you because he knows you as well if not better than you know yourself. I know that I can trust you with my heart. I can share every concern, thought, hope or fear with you and be assured that you will always protect my, yours and our best interests. It’s like asking which came first believing or knowing. The more you know, the more you believe. The more you believe, the more you understand that which you know. Beliefs are based upon trust and our experiences together. Trust grows stronger as our faith (believing) in each other increases. We continually learn more about our spouse. Knowing is believing for it nourishes faith and brings about further growth of both knowledge and faith (believing). This explains the unparalleled power with which our Lord Jesus Christ taught and performed miracles in perfect and absolute agreement and alignment with the will of his Holy Father God. His ministry began when he was 30 years of age. He was anointed by the Holy Spirit (God the Father) when he was baptized by the Prophet John. Jesus knew his Holy Heavenly Father so well that he believed and knew (believing is knowing) that God would work with and in him (His Son) to confirm the Word of Truth spoken by Jesus. The power of knowing is faith (believing) with which the God Man Jesus cast out demons, raised the dead, healed the sick and diseased and lived a sinless life. This enabled Jesus to willingly give his life on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of man. He knew the mind of God and his role in the plan of salvation and redemption of sinful man. He always said yes to what he knew and believed. That would keep him in the way of life eternal. (John 5:39 Search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life and they are they which testify of me.”) God was the way to eternal life for Jesus. Jesus is the way we access God for eternal life. The knowing is applying the truths, concepts, principles and attributes of Creator God in which life springs forth and flows. Life is power. Absence of life is weakness, emptiness, void. We can look forward to living in the power of the Holy Spirit as our constantly increasing knowledge of God, Jesus and the way of life lights the way. Believing is knowing. Knowing God and His Son Jesus Christ is eternal Life. John 17:3 “And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent”.
My faith in you grows stronger because I know you love me, Kochany
