Good Friends Are a Blessing
My Eve, my friendliest friend,
Two of our best friends spent the weekend and refreshed us with old memories, new ideas and happy times. When we go to Florida, we spend a few days with them so our friendship is renewed regularly. We often discuss historic moments and delve deeply into strategies which failed and the basic reason for the failure. Last night our topic was an article written by a young Albert Einstein about fact and faith. One seldom sees an article which scientifically supports the existence of God and the application of faith to rudiments of truth and supporting facts. Our friends each read and interpreted (the text was written in Polish) excerpts and we all joined in a healthy interchange, a truth quest if you will. Good friends sharing ideas and discussing deep, hidden morsels of truth is a certain recipe for high spirits. We love our friends and give special thanks to God for the place in our hearts which is reserved for them only. Only they can fill that explicit portion of our garden of daily sharing and memories which like periennial flowers return perpetually to decorate and embellish our souls. Friends who read, study, and think on deep spiritual matters are more valuable than fine gold for we exchange diamonds of wisdom and understanding acquired only by those who mine and dig for those ideas hidden from a world seeking pleasure. They have pleasure with mental emptiness and the ensuing arrested spiritual growth. They are children in adult bodies, never achieving the high calling of a wise Heavenly Father who created and calls us to eternal fulfillment in His Son Christ Jesus. It was good to see the girls excitedly set out to local garage sales. Us guys had an errand to run. Alas after two splendid days, our friends departed but we keep in will touch and discuss many of the things we learned during their visit. Holy Father, watch over our friends, protect them in your mercy grant that we may visit with them again . To your credit and glory, good friends are a blessing.
Thankful for the friendship of our God and Christ, Kochany
