Honey in Our Tea
Dear Eve, my tea time companion,
Precious Eve, you make a delightful cup of tea. Usually after breakfast you make tea with fresh lemon, currant rosa flavor and honey. It’s a relaxing time when we chat and look out the window at the lake, the swans, the ducks and the squirrels in the two oak trees in the back yard. The after meal sessions are necessary not merely pleasant. Before clearing the table and resuming the activities of the day, our after meal tea provides a brief pause when we catch our breath. It’s astounding how we grow accustomed to the refreshing times of each day, the timing and manner in which they present themselves. You, my honey, prepare my tea with honey. You is sweeter than the honey of the bee and that’s why you’ll always be my honey. Lest we forget, there is lunch tea, afternoon tea, dinner tea and evening tea in front of the television. As grand as the tea is to my senses, you are an even greater stimulant. How could I not respond to your gentle gestures of love, with something as simple as a cup of tea. You are the honey in my tea and you can never be replaced. You my honey always put honey in our tea and my Honey fills my cup with her love.
In deep appreciation of all you do for me, Kochany
