Trusting our Lord Jesus to deliver you safely to me, Kochany
Kochana Eve on My Mind
Kochana Eve,
It’s 9:30 PM at our home but it is 3:30 AM where you are now sleeping. Hopefully you are sleeping for when we talked today you said that you couldn’t sleep last night. Tomorrow night, when you get home, you will sleep like a baby again. I’ve been keeping your place in bed for you. Tomorrow night I’ll move back to my side of the bed and you’ll once again sleep on your side. A bed can get lonely without your trusting companion resting beside you. We both rest better and rise to the new day prepared for whatever life has to present. As I climb into bed, I have you, Kochana, on my mind. Today I bought bananas, a cucumber, two types of apples, tomatoes, cottage cheese, and lemons for our tea. I filled the tank with gas so that you won’t have to fill up on your first day back to work. I watered her flowers again as well. I’ll clean up the house and pick up my sox tomorrow morning to be presentable for you, the love of my life. I’ll meet you at the airport with a fresh bouquet of roses. You loves roses but never a rose compared in beauty to my precious life love. Very soon now you and I will look out over the lake and we’ll once again sip our tea, laugh and love the day through. Tonight as I slip in bed alone for the last time before your return, my heart is filled with expectation as I look forward to our new tomorrow with you, Kochana, on my mind.
