Mother Teresa Greatness Is Holiness
Eva, my honey,
She was a short small woman with a great mission for the glory of God and the benefit of mankind. Hers was a work of righteousness, truth and holiness. Every teaching, work and intention was aligned with the absolute purity of 100% godliness fashioned after the vision and revelation of God exemplified in the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the God Man who, without sin, walked, talked and lived in a depraved world. He offered himself, a sacrifice, for the lost of the world when we were still sinners. Having left the riches of Heaven in the presence of the only righteous and holy God, he emptied himself of every thought and passion of the flesh (scripture says that He was tempted in all ways as a man) to overcome the wicked ruler of evil and sin (satan and his minions of demons). Having accomplished this by offering his body on the cross, he had the authority and right to commend his spirit into the hands of His Holy Heavenly Father, who raised him up from the dead on the third day and gave him (Jesus) a seat of authority at His Right Hand in heaven. This same Jesus was the inspiration of Mother Teresa, a tiny woman (in stature) with no desire for personal recognition, praise or worldly compensation. That an article about this woman would begin with little attention to her name (typical of her modesty which called no attention to herself) is contrary to the ways of man which always ‘blows a trumpet before a human personality proclaiming their works, claiming great personal accomplishments. They give no credit or glory to the Most High God who enables and provides all the components of their success which is errantly claimed by those who ‘toot their own horn’ and call all that God gave to glorify his name as their own GREAT works thus perverting themselves and their work. It is written,”I will not share my glory.” Mother Teresa, in the spirit of holiness, gave everything she had, sacrificed all her personal dreams and goals, served the poor, attended to the needs of the sick, diseased and dying. She taught the redeeming truth of God, Jesus Christ His son and the redemptive message of a loving God. In all this she sought no glory and only called attention to herself in ways that glorified God. She raised millions to assist the outcasts of a world not worthy of their presence and kept none of the proceeds for herself. Like the first century Christians and Jesus Christ her savior, she emptied herself of all worldly riches and gave all her wealth to the Kingdom of God. This is real greatness. Not as those of the world who give much from their great wealth but fall short of the Kingdom of God. The rich man who sought out Jesus, turned from the Way when Jesus told him to ‘sell all that he had, give it to the poor and receive riches in heaven.’ That man left in sadness because He refused to relinquish temporary riches on earth for eternal riches in heaven. The world is easily deceived by false claims and good works that fall short of the bench mark of the Word of God. The great men/women of this world have too much self in their lives and not enough Jesus christ. Mother Teresa lived a holy life for it is written, ‘be holy for your Father in heaven is holy’. Mother Teresa greatness is holiness and she has a place in heaven prepared for her from before the foundation of the world.
May we ever seek the holiness of God, Kochany
