My Voyage with Ewa
My lifetime shipmate Ewa,
It is my quiet time with Jesus our risen Lord. It’s just the Lord and me in sweet communion and as I give thanks to Him for blessings too numerous to list, I again give thanks for you and all that you are to our Lord first, us second and myself last. He teaches us to order our prayers in this sequence for that is the order which Creator God was, is and forever will be. His first concern is for me (or you), then for us (the Lord and me/you) and last of all for himself. This is the humility of God, who having created all and being in all is content to watch his matchless work manifest the magnificence that is and can only be God Most High, while we glory in our Godly works which glorify Him. It is indeed a circle of love, emanating from God, flowing through His creation and returning to God the source of all life. I love you Most High and I love our Ewa and all those you have given to us. You have been with us, Holy Father, on our voyage of life and Ewa and I give thanks for your protection. My Ewa, you have been my sweetheart, my lover, my friend and my companion. Your love sustains me when my spirits are low. Our oneness and our God make life worth the living. Let me share the words of a song with you.
Voyage Written by: Dominique Albert Dubois and Jean-Michel Rivat
I am a sailor, and you’re my first mate,
All signed on together, we’ve completed our fate,
Hauled up our anchor, determined not to fail,
For our hearts’ treasure, together we sail.
With no maps to guide us we steered our own course,
Rode out the storms when the wind was gale force,
Sat out the doldrums with patience and hope,
Working together we learn how to cope.
Life is an ocean, love is a boat,
In troubled waters it keeps us afloat,
When we started the voyage there was just me and you,
Now gathered round us we have our own crew.
Together we’re in this relationship,
We built it with care to last the whole trip,
Our destination’s not marked on the charts,
For we’re navigating the shores of the heart.
I love you my sweet Ewa, You made me a captain by loving me, Kochany
