Pinky Raises Funds for Breast Cancer

My Kochana Eve,

After church, in September of 2013, we were treated by the sight of Pinky, a Karman Volkswagen on the front row in the church parking lot. Eye lashes around the head lights initially caught the attention of everyone. The owner was a woman who had successfully beaten breast cancer. Her husband bought a old used Volkswagen, painted her pink, added a white convertible top, customized her with chrome in all the right places, white leather seats, chrome wheels, dice hanging from the rear view mirror and black with white polka dot sun visors. The owner and her husband attend 300 events each year in support of breast cancer fund raisers. It is admirable that the woman and her husband have chosen to devote the time and effort to this noble cause in the never ending battle against breast cancer. Our church was hosting an auto show in the afternoon from 2 until 5 pm. This is surely the work of God as we rally around and support those searching for a cure for cancer and those in a fight for their lives. God likes it when men come together to defeat an enemy of man. Let us remember to give generously to those who can’t meet the financial and physical burdens in their personal battle with cancer. Let us pray fervently as we give for all those valiant souls who look to God and man for their spiritual, physical and emotional needs. Our Tammy, fought a valiant battle against breast cancer until our Lord called her home to her eternal reward. We are proud of our warrior daughter, for she stood bravely on the promises of the Most High God in knowing faith and full knowledge that she was Gods’ and God in Christ Jesus was hers. Jesus said, (John 10: 28 – 30) “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.” Now our Tammy is one with the Father and Son as it is written, (John 17:30 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” And again it is written, (John 17: 21) “that all of them may be one, as You,Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one—…”  Even so my precious Eve, we shall cleve to our God Most High in our walk with Christ until that grand day when He shall call us home or at the final Trump at the return of Jesus our Lord and Savior. May the Lord, the Captain of the Host, the ancient of Days and the eternal hope of all creation be with us in all that we think, say, do and are both now and forever more. Amen to the infinite power.
