Preparing to Achieve
My Eve,
Life is a process in which each of us systematically develops into the being which we gradually become. What our life produces is a function of the degree to which we believe and follow the instructions (commands) of God and trust His Son Jesus Christ to lead us in the path of life (I am the way, the truth and the Life) unto life eternal. Just as our love grew and developed over the years we have walked together, even so we grow spiritually as God plants the seeds of life (opens our understanding of His Word) in our minds which quickens our spirit and waters it (Christ is the water of life) with the holy spirit. As we mature in the spirit, we are preparing to achieve the work God the great designer and engineer delegated to each of us. God is the great equalitarian. To each of his creatures He assigned a work which would both glorify His Holy Name and thus glorify his children as a result. As a parent He is glorified in his children and the children are glorified in their parents. He has given us a work together as one and he has given each of us a work in Him as one in Christ. Our work in Christ will be one in us. In the garden of Gethsemane Jesus said. ” I will that they be one in us. They in me and I in you.” This was the great prayer of Christ as recorded in John the seventeenth chapter, not the Lords’ prayer recorded earlier in his life as an example of prayer. The prayer in the seventeenth chapter of John was potent, pure and passionate pleadings to God his Father as Jesus the Savior stood in the gap for the men whom he loved and identified with as he identified (who thought it not robbery to be equal to god) with God His father. He prayed for us in that prayer approximately 2000 years ago. We reap the rewards of his petition on our behalf then and now as he sits at the right hand of the Father. I know that at times we both tire of the chastening and molding our god puts upon us as he shapes, forms and polishes our spirits that we might in our bodies produce the works he created us to perform. Let us never lose faith in our God or each other knowing that He who gave us our assignment also planned every resource and the availability of those resources to be delivered on time, all the time, without exception. So tonight my Kochana Eve, my heart, mind and soul reaches out to you knowing that you and our God will meet me at the point of my need that the Lord and I may also meet you at the point of your need. Together and individually we are preparing to achieve every purpose and plan of a loving God who loves us in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
May the spirit of achievement abide with us now and evermore, Kochany
