Reassessing Spiritual Values with Prayer and Fasting

Eve, my prayer warrior in Christ,

As time passes and we gain wisdom the norms of yesterday give way to redefinition demanded by greater understanding and knowledge. If we focus on truth from the perspective of educators and scholars of the secular world school of spiritual values, and superimpose those values over the simple revealed truths of the Most High God, we find that those corollaries and maxims of man are so deviant from the principles and law of God that we clearly see the deliberate and divisive tactics of an evil and cleverly devised plan for the demise of man and his relationship with his Creator God in his rightful role as world ruler (opposed to the present ursupation of power and authority by Sation and his evil servants, both man and spirit) with God the Father, in Jesus Christ His holy, risen Son. For this reason, we dedicate regular time to study and meditation in the scriptures, setting aside the necessary time for prayer and fasting to weaken the body, the desires of carnal man and pride of life while strengthening our spirit, soul and mind. Meditation, study and application of the new found ideals are the spiritual food which feeds our tree of life. Prayer and fasting are the steeping process that assimilates the spiritual flavor of the new spirit filled man as tea is steeped in hot water to draw out the flavors and aromas of fresh tea. The more we study to show ourselves approved before God, the more we walk the pathway of life, simultaneously deviating from the wide road of sin most travelled by man and in which we received our first instruction. For even the pulpit in our dispensation has been politicized infiltrated with impostors pretending to serve God while enriching and aggrandizing themselves at the expense and endangerment of the flock they claim to protect. The Book of Daniel calls this modern day impersonation of Christ as, ‘the abomination of desolation standing where it ought not’ (meaning the pulpit). Because of this ‘leaven in the bread’, of which Jesus warned his servants, we must daily be reassessing spiritual values with prayer and fasting.

Praying and fasting in hopes of our spiritual freedom in Christ our Savior, Kochany
