Thanks to You Lord, She Walks with Me

It’s Time Lord! Even so Come Lord Jesus.

Lord, You’ve always known my heart, mind and soul. Even as a small boy I’ve felt your nearness to me. You gave me an hunger for your Word and my days have been filled with a longing to be in the center of your will. It pleases me to know that you are pleased with my efforts to be like you in all ways, and that you are always with me. You’ve given me a woman who loves you as much as I do. She strengthens me and completes me the way you planned it. For this your servant praises your holy name. When you brought her to me it troubled me that you I loved her so very much. Do you remember that I asked you to understand that the great love that you gave me for her would always be a glory to you name. Thank you Holy Father for her and all that you have done through her to make me a better man of God. We both love and adore you with all our hearts and find comfort in your presence in our days. Amen

My darling Eve,

It was only fitting that your man, give thanks and praise to our Lord for in His infinite wisdom He planned for us to be one and Your man humbly gives thanks for all that He is to our days together. Since our journey together began, it has been a massive source of hope, encouragement and strength in knowing with no doubt or reservations that you, my Kochana, are dedicated and you cleave to your man for in all circumstances you walks with me. Occasionally the way is uncertain but during those trials we wait on God and He fights our battles for us. That way we never lose. We walk with God and you my Eve walk with me. Because you walk with me, your counsel is powerful in moments of indecision. Your tenderness balances my raw reason which often lacks in the emotional perception and attitude for life where we live it. When you talk with me I am comforted. You walk within me as well for the talking, the loving, the laughing and the touching we share has made us part of a greater person than both of us individually. Your feelings are always obvious as you give of yourself in the highs, lows and plateaus of our days. I know you and you know me. The knowing makes all things better. Your many godly thoughts, attitudes and attributes reinforce my own godly traits and we are more like our Gracious Lord Jesus who taught us to emulate his walk on earth in service to his Heavenly Father. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed that we would be in him, “I (Jesus) in Thee (God) and they in me (Christ).” God promised to restore the lost dominion which satan usurped. One day ‘He shall come in ten thousand saints to shine.’ We wait expectantly for his return for we are certain that God does not lie. All that he foretells will come to pass. Until that day we will walk with him. I will be triumpant with you, Kochana, for you walk with me.
