The Garden of God

My always energetic adventuring sweetheart Eve,

Do you remember our last Colorado trip? Just outside Colorado Springs is a scenic, majestic red rock valley known as the Garden of the Gods. The red rock formations were formed along a natural fault line. Ancient sedimentary beds of deep-red, pink and white sandstones, conglomerates and limestone were deposited horizontally, but have been tilted vertically and faulted by the immense mountain building forces caused by the uplift of the Rocky Mountains and the Pikes Peak massif. The Utes, a native American tribe, camped in the valley. They attributed a spiritual value to the red rocks and camped near Manitou Springs and the creek near Rock Ledge Ranch bordering the Garden of the Gods. Garden of the Gods Park is popular for hiking, technical rock climbing, road and mountain biking and horseback riding. About 2 million visitors visit the park each year.
What men call ‘The Garden of of the Gods’ is merely one of many gardens of God. We notice how artistic and structural wonders populate the earth where ever we travel and if that is not enough, look to the sky and know that a great and mighty creator planned and spoke into being an integrated, systematic perpetual motion machine which we find astounding and too wonderful to describe in words.

The most important Garden of God is in the heart and mind of every person who has received the Breath of Life. A garden is a controlled environment in which all weeds (sin) are removed to prevent them from choking out the flowers (Word of God). The primary work of Adam was to ‘dress and keep’ (prune the trees and daily remove the weeds of perversion) the garden that it might be a clean and sanitary home for a holy, pure, just and loving God. God won’t abide in the filth of sin. Nor will He tolerate laziness or neglect of our assigned duties. We are to be like Him and God is not lazy. He is always mindful of His importance to the daily needs of His children. Kochana in this you are much like our precious Holy Father in Heaven. You too are mindful of your importance to the daily needs of all who need your love. You never withhold that which you can do today. We all love you for that and we all benefit from your Godly qualities and in this God is glorified.

I am blessed to have you in my life, Kochany
