The Loveliest of Them All

My Eva, the loveliest of them all, this is about you,

She was unaware of how beautiful she was to me, when she first appeared at the door of that Eva shaped void in my heart. God had put that insufficiency in my soul and she was the key prepared to unlock the treasure room of my earthly life and bring forth the long concealed luster of the unpolished gold and gems of unfulfilled hope, desire, accomplishment and completion as one in Christ and one with her. She brought the ‘us’ for which I had yearned in the daily renewal of the quest for the completion of that work God planned for the two of us as ‘one flesh’. I needed her before we met (when God brought us together) and I need her now more than ever as she knows my thoughts as I think them, in part because the Most High God has molded me with much of what he has taught me through her and our ‘holy Union’ in Christ and each other. Holy Father in Heaven, your humble servant loves her so much. It hurts to see our lovely Eva in pain, embarrassment or discomfort. If it hurts me, precious Lord, how much more does it pain you? Our gracious God, on Friday, our darling Eva had an infected tooth removed and today, she has unsightly swelling on her face. As we go to watch our grand daughter skate in a holiday program, she tries as best she can to hide her face, that lovely visage of beauty, which your hands crafted in perfection and love. Your servant implores you to quickly heal the infection and restore the illustrious radiance which always glows in her heart, mind and soul to her delicate face. We know that you hear and answer prayer, so hear our prayer even as you heard the prayer of Jesus when he prayed for us in the Garden of Gethsemane and heal our Ewa that she might go about her day without having to hide that beautiful face which moves me and makes me glad that I’m a her husband. I ask this in confidence that you will meet Eva at the point of her need. Father in heaven, you know how much I love her and that to me, above all women, she shall always be the loveliest of them all.

Trusting our God for all our needs, Kochany
