They’ll Never Take Her Love from Me

‘If today the sun should set on all my hopes and cares,
There is one whose smiling face our God would see,
For she’ll walk along beside me up the golden stairs.
Oh they’ll never, ever take her love from me.’

My one true love Eve,

These words of a song, written by Leon Payne and sung by Hank Williams, sum up our love. Angels, when observing our love, can see the purity and God like quality of two hearts, minds and souls bound together as one. We are one person created from two members. We are indivisible, like Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. God joined them and no-one could separate them. Satan tried to divide them and though he caught the eye of Eve, he could never turn her heart from the Most High God and the man Adam from whom God took a rib when He formed her. Our omniscient Creator God saw her heart and the agony of her soul that manifested as guilt. He stepped between satan, who had enticed her, and Eve and said that she would be free from him and her seed would strike him on the head (destroy the evil mindset of the devil and his demon hordes of hell). I have confidence in our God. He will preserve for us the happiness, joy and overcoming power of being together just the way He fore ordained and planned. Adam was assured to have Eve because no-one loved her as much as he did, for God gave him a love for Eve that even she could not destroy. This is the power of love. True love is indestructible. Did her husband, knowing the certain consequence of death (Adam was not deceived) chose death with her in preference to life without her? The Holy Father seeing such great love planned an escape for the sinful pair. The serpent loved himself and despised Eve. She was anathema to him (satan) for God in his creative artistry formed a creature (the woman) more lovely than Lucifer, who arrogantly thought himself more beautiful than the Son of God. Though Eve was attracted by the flirtation of the serpent, she was unmoved by his advance on her heart and he despised her for that. Her heart belonged to Adam. Only her God and her husband could possess her heart (the seat of her being, the throne or high place of her soul – in this Eve rejected the devil). My Ewa, I know that your heart belongs to me and you know my heart belongs to you. Such is love. For we know, that we know, that we know, that we know, that we know, that we know, that we know to the infinite power that we love each other (for no-one else can assume our rightful place) and that God who loves us even more than we love each other (the Most High God is capable of a higher and more intense love than his created creatures, though He created us in His image) brought us together to glorify His Holy Name. Every day I give thanks for you and all that you are to me for they’ll never ever take your love from me.

Counting on God to carry us through to victory, Kochany
