My darling Eve,

In the early days of the American Colonies great numbers of turkeys populated the greater part of North America. Turkey was one of the main sources of meals for skilled hunters through the late 1800’s. Turkey was a favorite meal for Eastern Native American Tribes. They consumed both the eggs and meat. Benjamin Franklin  preferred the turkey over the bald eagle as the national bird of the United States. At the beginning of the twentieth century the range and numbers of the wild turkey decreased due to hunting and loss of habitat. The estimated population had dropped to 30,000 or less endangering the species with extinction. By the 1940’s it was almost totally extirpated from Canada and becoming localized in pockets in the United States. Game officials made efforts to protect and encourage the breeding of the remaining population and some trapped birds were relocated to new areas, including some western states where it was not native. With the success of conservation and protection measures the estimated population of wild turkeys is now 7 million and 49 states have reinstated hunting seasons. When men work together in co-operation to solve an obvious disaster, success like the rebound in wild turkey numbers is the result. It requires recognizing the problem and working with a common goal without selfishness. The word of God tells us that in the last days, the people of God will be persecuted as the judgement of God  rains down on an evil world government. The prophet Daniel (the book of Daniel), our Lord Jesus Christ (Mathew Chapter 24)  and the apostle John (Revelation) all speak of the coming end time judgement on the wicked, ungodly leaders and their generation of mindless followers who will set themselves up in the place of God Most High. They write laws which pervert the immutable law of God our Heavenly Father. As Adam and Eve learned after they broke the law of their Creator, the eternal law of God cannot be modified for it is exactly what it is. (God told Moses that his name was ‘I am that I am’). Evil men think in their perverted minds that they can make the law of God better but the eternal law of God cannot be improved. In addition to destroying the spiritual habitat in which we raise our young, the wicked world government restricts religious freedom to prevent our God from shining His Life Giving Light in us (His servants) to show the way for the babies in Christ and those lost, wayward souls in need of the salvation and redemption of Jesus Christ. Even now they go about proclaiming lies which God abhors in a deliberate attempt to destroy our habitat in Christ where we rest and have our being. They fight a losing battle for Christ abides in our hearts and minds, but they become increasingly desperate for satan and his minions know time is short for their hour is at hand. (The true believers will be singled out for extinction) Jesus prophesied in Mathew 24: 21-22 about a systematic annihilation of man leading up to the final battle between the Army of God and the hordes of hell at Armageddon. Jesus said, “For then there will be a great tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.” This could be terrifying news, but to those who have prepared their minds and hearts with knowledge and wisdom of the Word of God, it is hope and guidance to lead us through the devastation. In Christ, we will overcome and persevere through the grace and leadership of the All-Knowing, Omniscient, Omnipresent Most High God. (“He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Rev 3:21) Be not afraid, my Kochana, our God will deliver us from the hand of all those who wish evil upon us. The eternal plan of the Most High God will forever prevail. ‘Glory to God in the highest, peace on earth, good will to men!’
